These Terms govern your use of Frontkrieg, a free real-time strategy game set in World War I and played in a web browser at frontkrieg.games (the "Game"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. The Game

Frontkrieg is a multiplayer online strategy game. It is provided free of charge. There is no paid currency, no paid advantage and no purchasable items — no player can gain an in-game advantage by paying.

We may add, change or remove features, maps, game rules and scenarios at any time to keep the Game balanced and running.

2. Your account

You need an account to play. You must provide a valid email address and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens through your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that age is lower. Accounts are personal; one person may not run several accounts in the same match.

Tell us at support@frontkrieg.games if you believe someone else is using your account.

3. Rules of conduct

While using the Game you must not: exploit bugs, use bots, scripts, automation or third-party programs that interact with the Game; attack, overload or probe our infrastructure; harass, threaten or insult other players; post unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit content in chat, newspapers or diplomacy messages; impersonate staff; trade, sell or transfer accounts; or use the Game for advertising or spam.

Coordinated abuse — such as several accounts controlled by one person to help each other in a match — undermines fair play and is treated as a serious violation.

4. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the messages, alliance names, newspaper articles and other text you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and transmit that content as needed to operate the Game.

We may remove content that breaks these Terms or applicable law.

5. Our content

The Game, including its code, maps, graphics, interface, texts and the name "Frontkrieg", is protected by intellectual property law and belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, decompile, resell or create derivative works from it, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

Frontkrieg is an independent work of historical fiction. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any other game, publisher or trademark holder.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these Terms, harms other players or threatens the stability or security of the service. Where reasonable and lawful we will explain the reason and you may reply to support@frontkrieg.games.

You may stop playing and request deletion of your account at any time by writing to support@frontkrieg.games.

7. Availability and disclaimer

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". It is free, developed continuously, and may contain errors or be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that a match will finish, or that game data will never be lost.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Game. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights granted by the law of your country of residence.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Game develops or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Significant changes will be announced in the Game or by email. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
